ABSTRACT

      This research aims to find out the financial of PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk, PT. Matahari putra prima Tbk, PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk, PT. Mitra Adiperkasa Sentosa Tbk, and PT. Alfa Retailindo Tbk which are merged in retail company registered in BEI from 2007 up to 2010 using EVA (Economic Value Added) method. This research is a case study, the data was collected y using documentation teqnique from BEI data. The data analisis applied in this research in the calculation of financial performance based on EVA (Economic Value Added) method. Based on this method the result shows that the performance of those companies registered in BEI from 2007 up to 2010 is in a good category which EVA > 0. Those companies which are good as seen in the EVA ratio are PT. Hero Supermarket Tbk, PT. Ramayana Lestari Sentosa Tbk, PT. Mitra Adiperkasa Sentosa Tbk, and PT. Alfa Retailindo Tbk. The company which is not really good in the financial performance is PT. Matahari putra prima Tbk. It has got EVA< 0.
