Increase in Mathematics Achievements on the Grouping of Various Flat Up is Simple Using the Media Realities in the Grade I Second Semester Soka Elementary School Years 2011/2012

ABSTRACT 

      Purpose of the study was to determine whether the use of media reality can improve mathematics achievement in grade I in Soka Elementary School year 2011/2012. Realizing to the material simple flat wake. 

        This study is an action research consisting of 2 cycles. Each cycle consisting of  2  subject  study  were  grade  I  students  in  Soka Elementary School  year 2011/2012. amounting to 17 students. Instruments used in this study is a written test in the form of multiple choice questions. The validity of the instrument was tested by expert judgment (expert consultation). 

       Result showed that an increase in mathematics achievement related to a simple flat wake in grade I of Soka Elementary school in years 2011/2012. This improvement is shown by an increase in the leverage yield of 56 to 70 pre cycle in cycle I and 88 in cycle II. The number of students who completed increased from 4 students in pre cycle to 8 students in cycle I and 14 in cycle II.
